*Youth Group Leader, Our Lady of Sorrows, 1984-1987
Helped plan and implement the Youth Ministry Program under the Parish Priest and Youth Ministers, which included the Sunday Night Gathering, retreat days, and fun outings.

NJ Catholic Charismatic Conference
Served on the board 2012-2013. In 2012, Mark was instrumental in bringing Damian Stayne of Cor et Lumen Christi, England, to the conference, acting as the main point of contact before, during and after. He also was a speaker and music minister at the 2013 Conference.

Lived as a Missionary at St. Antoninus Church in Newark. Ministry included:
1) Daily engagement with people on the street, praying for them and offering them material and spiritual help.
2) 7 “Mission Immersions,” week-long mission trips in Newark where they would host 25-40 or so missionaries coming to live and/or serve with us for a week, ministering at various places, including:
The Missionaries of Charity, Jay Street, Newark
Ladies Rest, Central Avenue, Newark
Habitat for Humanity, Newark
Door to Door Evangelization, Newark
Food Distribution and Prayer, Penn Station, Newark
Neighborhood Fun Day (games, face-painting, sports, music, faith-sharing, St. Antoninus, Newark)
Holy Road Trip (NYC, Seaside Heights, Liberty State Park)
3) Monthly Outreach Days, where we would set up tables with free food, clothes, Bibles, spiritual books, Rosaries, etc) and engage with the people, offering prayer, support, and an invitation to Church.

Prompted by God, Mark and his siblings started a weekend retreat for their extended family and friends. He has served as retreat master, music minister, and leader of the planning team. In recent years they have partnered with Kingdom Fire Starters, a Healing Prayer Ministry, and have seen wonderful fruit over the weekends.

He recently graduated from The Encounter School of Ministry, New Jersey Campus, at Mary Mother of God Church in Middletown. Fr. Jeff Kegley, Pastor, Jim Tortorici, Director where the students learned about their identity in Christ and how to be open to the Holy Spirit in ministry.
He continues to serve Encounter as a worship leader and looks forward to what God will do in and through them in days to come!

Mark and his wife, Samantha, are raising their children in the Faith including daily prayer, Bible reading, weekly Mass, and reaching out to others with God’s love.
